Zack Thomas has nearly three decades of experience in the maritime industry. Zack currently leads the Northwest Seaport Alliance’s Operations Service Center where he oversees terminal operations in Seattle and Tacoma. Zack is an innovator who works with numerous maritime stakeholders to identify solutions to production and congestion issues and implement infrastructure and technology improvements that grow NWSA’s market share within the industry.
Zack has extensive maritime and operations experience. Before working for the Northwest Seaport Alliance, Zack was the General Manager of Port America in Tacoma, Superintendent of Jones Stevedoring in Portland, Oregon, and Captain with Alaska Marine Charters. Zack has a Bachelor of Science from the Nautical Science Maine Maritime Academy.
