IAPH Regional: Potential of Terminal and Cargo Data Sharing for East and South Asian Ports

One of the main reasons why South East Asian ports have been rated highest in their berth productivity can be attributed to their approach towards digitalization and data sharing. In this session, you will hear the case of Busan which has multiple terminal operators all competing with each other and the case of Kobe which works on a national level to facilitate data sharing. You will also hear about the outlier Adani Ports which has emerged as a major regional player in South Asia thanks to its innovative approach to digitaization.
