Edwin Lampert is Riviera Maritime Media's Executive Editor and Head of Business Relations.

An award-winning editor, Edwin has launched a number of maritime print and online publications, and is at the forefront of developing, chairing and moderating Riviera’s portfolio of events and webinar weeks. He is a frequent chair or moderator of maritime and offshore industry events, adjudicator of industry awards and has been engaged by industry to deliver workshops and consultancy services internationally. His opinions are sought out by media outlets, and he has featured in The Guardian and on Canadian national radio. Edwin founded registered charity The Brun Bear Foundation which (among others causes) supports the OSCAR (Ocean and Shipping Community Advancing Children’s Health and Research) campaign and marine conservation projects.

    Ship Emissions at Berth - The IAPH ESI Pilot Project

    Last year the IAPH Environmental Ship Index (ESI) celebrated its tenth anniversary, with 6,900 registered vessels and 60 port and maritime incentive providers working together to reduce NOx, SOx and other ship emissions, financially rewarding fleets that continuously improve their vessel efficiency. This session will give delegates an overview of the next step for the Index and how it is engaging with the cruise industry to take the first vital step in implementing a ship emission at berth module as part of the new ESI 2.0.
