Charles Kretzmann

Pilbara Ports Authority

General Manager Major Projects

Mr Kretzmann joined Pilbara Ports in October 2017.

He is a civil engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in planning, design, construction, project and program management for public and private sector organizations.

Before joining Pilbara Ports, Mr. Kretzmann held several roles at water planning and utility companies, including Asset Manager for the Australian Northwest Region and, more recently, as a program manager and project director based in Perth. His portfolio included major construction projects, refurbishment and retrofitting programs, strategic wastewater programs and an advisory role for irrigation projects. Current work at the ports is focused on delivery of approximately Au $1Bn in capital projects.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering), a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a post graduate qualification in environmental management.
