For 10 out of her 15 years of professional experience, Barbara has dedicated herself to reporting on the shipping, port and maritime supply chain industry in Latin America, interviewing the sector’s top executives on the latest trends in the region and the world, from shipping to alternative fuels, commercial trade and the impact of the pandemic, among others, as International Content Editor in MundoMaritimo, the leading publication in the field with 19 years of presence in Latin America. Barbara Salgado holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a degree in Literature, both from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile, as well as a diploma in Corporate Communications from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a diploma in Digital Marketing from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez; she is a native speaker in Spanish and English and fluent in Italian.

With the support of case examples, it describes how blended finance can close the gap.
