Annick De Ridder

Port of Antwerp


Annick De Ridder is the vice-mayor for the port of Antwerp, urban development, and spatial planning of the City of Antwerp since 7 January 2019. She is also a member of the Flemish Parliament, where she is active in the Committee for Mobility and Public Works. As President of the Board of the Antwerp Port Authority and a member of Antwerp’s City Council, she has acquired intimate knowledge about the port of Antwerp.

Annick De Ridder obtained a Master’s in Law from the University of Antwerp, after which she was admitted to the Antwerp Bar, working as a lawyer for 9 years. After that, she worked as a consultant in the green energy sector for several years. In 2013, she obtained a post-graduate degree in Corporate Finance from the Catholic University of Leuven.
