The United States of America returned to the global stage with its rejoining of the Paris Climate Accord last February. President Biden has set a deadline of April 22 to complete the pledge for his country's 2030 emissions cuts ahead of his Earth Day summit. In February, the new U.S. President also said “‘It’s time to stop talking about infrastructure and finally start building infrastructure. Millions of good-paying jobs putting Americans to work rebuilding our roads, our bridges, our ports to make them more climate resilient, to make them faster, cheaper, cleaner to transport American-made goods across our country and around the world, that’s how we compete." Since then his 1.9 Trillion dollar stimulus package has been passed. What does this "Changing of the Guard" mean for US ports and ports globally ?
