IAPH has spearheaded innovative, practical tools for ports: a globally-used easy-to-use index tool to reward shipowners reducing their fleet emissions, a suite of audit tools and operational safety checklists for ports looking to award concessions to alternative bunker fuel operators, and a recent initiative that will measure cruise emissions at berth. The Chair and Vice-Chair of the IAPH Climate and Energy Committee will give an overview of the IAPH Toolkit members can use to improve on their environmental footprint.
